Project Description:

It is new $1.1 million Fire Station for Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services. The job consists of 5,500 square feet, four fire truck apparatus bay, wood truss roof structure and standing seam metal roofing. It also has load bearing concrete masonry unit with brick facing and stucco soffit and state of the art Fire Alarm and Communication system. The challenge of the job lied in the limited area conducting construction activities on a very steep property and very limited access to and from the extremely busy Cherokee Street.
